Easter Copy Cats

We tried to do a nice Easter Egg Hunt like Lou always did. Well I used my whole box of eggs, bout 600, plus 6 dz hard boiled. The trick was that most of the eggs represented one chocolate egg or 10 jelly beans or a small prize. The boiled eggs were quarters $.25 with a few special ones worth more. We invited Walkers, and Regan, and the four younger Nelsons and Sariah and Bryan's crew, also Brighton and Anthony, but they couldn't come. It took us an hour to "trade in" the eggs for the candy and prizes, but I hope they all had fun. We had to use our front yard and Walkers front yard because we have manure in the back. It was a little different but everyone seemed happy in the end. Aaron Walker was a little skeptic that he could have any fun. But I think it turned out ok. We lost one of Sariah's pink bunny eggs, but I saw it up in the corner of the yard yesterday when I drove out of the drive way. I took only one picture as they came out of the doorway, then I got so caught up in it I forgot the camera swinging on my wrist and got no other pictures. Boo hoo.

That sounds like a lot of fun! I should start doing Easter Egg Hunts with my kids but I am too lazy. I am glad that you have a blog now. I think they are so much fun!
